Ambition Southwark is a multi-systems VRU response service trailed via the NHS South East London Clinical Commissioning Group. Locally led and delivered by Active Communities Network in partnership with Youth Ink and Southwark Young Advisors, to proactively engage & support young people, exhibiting high thresholds of risk factors, to enact effective methods of early prevention, intervention and one-to-one work, with youth members, their families and the wider community connections.
A key function of Ambition Southwark focuses on the improvement of community services, system capability and capacity to respond appropriately to serious youth violence and provide trauma informed & culturally competent responses, learnt from the needs, influence and empowerment of our communities.
The program not only engages young people but the programme is dedicated to building trusted relationships with young people and families for the betterment of authentic lifestyles and thriving outcomes.
