We run various programs across London, Manchester, Belfast and outside the UK, addressing deep-rooted community issues and empowering young people.
Founded on four pillars of activity, relationships, education and healing, our projects include community engagement initiatives, volunteering opportunities and a wide range of education, training and employment support programmes. Goals Academy is a youth led programme, aimed at individuals 14-25 years old from North & West Belfast.
Our work in the creative arts sector promotes volunteering, belonging, and identity.
Breaking Barriers utilises ACN’s methodology to develop young people as positive citizens who have greater understanding and respect for their community.
Traditional methods of play, focusing on communication, social interaction and enjoyment are the main focus of this new initiative to get young people from different communities together.
Our Education Hub supports our users to achieve qualifications in English, Maths and ICT.
The Hope Programme allows us to work with 20 young people age 16-25 years old. The focus of the programme is supporting the young people by providing mentoring support, group activities and education or training opportunities of their choice.
The Youth Committee was established as a way for young people to have a voice within the organisation and to ensure that the focus of our youth programmes remain young person led.
The inclusion programme is available to support individuals that are struggling academically and require some additional support that can’t be accessed in an academic setting. This can be through one to one mentoring or in a larger group session depending on need.
The Ascent project will engage 350 young people between 12-15 years old in targeted cross community activity.
The Sport for Peace project aims to promote positive change through sport and community engagement across 4 Pillars.
