Where we work

We work in London, Manchester and Belfast. Find out more below.

Manchester

In 2009, we established our first ACN Manchester office in Salford.

Since then, we have opened an office in east Manchester from where we deliver programmes (such as the Game Changers citizenship and leadership initiative), throughout Tameside and the wider east Manchester area.

Our focus is on building youth and community development and promoting citizenship as part of our wider education and training programmes.

Belfast

We launched ACN Belfast in 2009 with a pilot programme in the heart of west Belfast. The charity has since expanded across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, delivering services that help develop communities that have been disadvantaged.

From providing early intervention to thousands of marginalised young people, to delivering education and work opportunities, all projects are driven by local needs and the priorities expressed by young people themselves.

London

ACN started delivering programmes, in 2007, under the name London Active Communities. Working across Southwark and Lambeth, our main aim was to use sport as an alternative way to engage with and inspire young people.

Today, thanks to our growing partnership network, we reach young people across all 32 London boroughs. From Unheard Voices to Girlhood Active, our projects help young Londoners address the issues that matter most to their communities.
