The ACN Way Project is funded by The National Lottery Community Fund UK to work across 5 regions across the UK, North of England, Midlands, London & South East, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The ACN Way aims to develop a Network of 500 grassroots organisations over a 5 year period (100 annually). The network will cultivate an eco-system whereby groups are actively involved in decision making at local, regional and national level. Through these networks we aim to ensure organisations are better understood by policy makers, commissioners and those in positions of decision making.
The ACN Way will deliver a bespoke capacity-building programme to organisations, supporting leaders, developing skills, increasing connectivity & enhancing knowledge. The project will amplify the unheard voices within the community sectors, promoting and demonstrating evidence-based practice and outcomes, having positive influences on the communities they support & serve.
The ACN Way Pledge is designed to bring organisations together in a shared commitment to equality, empowerment, and system change. It encourages collective action to challenge barriers, address inequalities, and create meaningful opportunities so that individuals and communities can thrive and reach their full potential.
